"Extreme Weather Initiative Targets Major Gaps in Workplace Readiness" highlights the gap between exposure and preparedness: Despite 2025 seeing 23 weather disasters each exceeding $1 billion in damages, only 25% of workers believe their employers are adequately prepared for future climate disruptions.

Extreme Weather + Work aims to close that gap, with practical guidance for employers across industries, from construction to office-based workplaces. Among these tools is a role-specific resource hub for occupational health and safety leaders.
