At our World AIDS Day Reception on Wednesday, Nov. 19, U.S. Business Action to End HIV was thrilled to honor companies and business leaders who made a deep impact this year in the fight to end the HIV epidemic in the U.S.
This year, we recognized 15 companies with the 2025 HIV Action Award, as well as three corporate leaders with individual awards recognizing exceptional leadership, courage, and innovation.

When a company joins the Coalition, it pledges to perform at least one of six actions to help end the epidemic:
This HIV Action Award honors companies that have gone above and beyond, completing all six corporate actions, reflecting their dedication, collaboration, and year-round commitment.
Congratulations to all 15 Coalition members who received the 2025 HIV Action Award: Alchemy, Avita Care Solutions, Chevron, CVS Health, Curant Health, Gilead Sciences, Healthvana, IHDLab, Match Group, Mercer, MISTR, RADcube, Theratechnologies, ViiV Healthcare, and Walgreens.
Each of these companies has made an impact worth celebrating in 2025, and we are excited to share some highlights:
Alchemy expanded access to HIV care by partnering with clinics nationwide to operate in-house pharmacies and strengthen community outreach programs that deliver education, testing, and treatment directly to underserved communities. The company also fostered a knowledgeable, stigma-free workforce through biweekly lunch-and-learn events focused on HIV prevention, care, and compassionate engagement.
Avita challenged stigma head-on with its "Erase the Doubt" campaign, which empowered communities with clear, compassionate messaging that broke down barriers to HIV testing. In Atlanta, its "Stomp the Noise: Be Fearless" programming uplifted community voices, while its "2025 Along for the Pride" campaign expanded patient outreach and visibility nationwide.
Chevron sustained its multifaceted commitment to ending HIV by supporting Surviving Voices, the National AIDS Memorial's oral storytelling project and film release event. Chevron engaged employees through volunteer programs with local organizations and strengthened employee access to services by providing comprehensive internal resources and connections to local clinics and benefit providers.
Curant Health strengthened HIV prevention by supporting Pride, community, and fundraising events nationwide; expanded care by opening new pharmacy sites in St. Louis and Wichita; and partnered with Novus Health on HIV testing days to provide patient education. Its 340B experts also worked year-round to help clinics grow sustainable programs, improving access to PrEP and HIV medications in underserved communities.
CVS Health expanded HIV awareness by holding company-wide educational webinars aimed at reducing stigma and increasing understanding among colleagues. The company also partnered with nonprofits, advocacy groups, and community organizations — including NMAC, Let's Beehive!, and Monarch Health Services — to improve access to PrEP, HIV testing, and treatment across the nation.
Gilead Sciences demonstrated nationwide leadership in HIV awareness, testing, access to care, and community impact. The company sponsored free HIV testing events for National HIV Testing Day and equipped communities with its powerful "Press Play — Know Your HIV Status" toolkit. Gilead also spotlighted lived experiences through its "Choose U" campaign and supported state-by-state reform of outdated HIV criminalization laws through "HIV Is Not a Crime."
Healthvana's AI-powered telehealth platform was featured in a Stanford study spanning 15 months, 15 states, and 50 clinics. The study found that patients who used the AI were three times more likely to start PrEP and twice as likely to stay on it. Nearly 80% of users were from communities most impacted by HIV — Black, Latino, LGBTQ+, and younger patients. That kind of trust is hard to earn, and it's changing how people engage with their health.
IHDLab strengthened internal HIV literacy by sharing science-based information, launching a workplace HIV inclusion policy grounded in confidentiality and nondiscrimination, and participating in national awareness initiatives such as World AIDS Day. The company also expanded access by offering free, confidential HIV testing for all employees throughout the month of November.
Match Group leveraged its platforms to improve access to HIV testing across the country. Chispa, one of its leading apps, published accessible education on at-home HIV testing and promoted National HIV Testing Day with push notifications directing users to Together TakeMeHome. Match Group also played a key role in federal advocacy, participating in meetings with lawmakers and contributing to several letters encouraging continued investment in the Ending the HIV Epidemic initiative.
Mercer used its national influence with employers of all sizes to elevate HIV awareness and expand access to prevention. Mercer led employer education through dedicated HIV blogs, video resources, and a suite of consulting tools to help employers identify access gaps and support PrEP uptake. Its HIV census mapping work with clients has strengthened awareness of where HIV risk and access challenges intersect. Mercer continues to engage key stakeholders to expand testing and prevention coverage.
MISTR's bold national campaign is transforming HIV prevention. The company launched the first-ever National PrEP Day on Oct. 10, aiming to enroll 10,000 new PrEP users in just 10 days and hosting events in 15 cities nationwide. MISTR's advocacy drew national recognition, with multiple cities issuing proclamations to recognize National PrEP Day, and bipartisan public support from leaders in California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, New York, Texas, and Washington, D.C.
RADCube is redefining workplace wellness and digital health innovation. The company launched a groundbreaking wellness program that links sexual health resources to real, tangible benefits, empowering employees to access HIV and STI testing without stigma and fostering a culture of proactive, informed care.
Theratechnologies shows its commitment to internal culture and employee well-being by hosting company-wide town halls and educational sessions to deepen knowledge about HIV prevention and treatment. The company also set a best-in-class example of building a relationship with its benefits broker, ensuring its health plan covers the cost of PrEP, removing barriers and strengthening HIV prevention access for employees.
ViiV Healthcare, known for reshaping HIV care through culturally resonant engagement, hosted "ReViiVal to Care: Atlanta," an event that invited the community to reimagine their faith and renew their commitment to wellness, building upon research showing that Black gay men's relationship with faith significantly influences their adherence to HIV treatment. ViiV also held a virtual panel, "The Power of Allyship and Intersectionality in HIV Awareness," during Hispanic Heritage Month, creating space for education, empowerment, and actionable solutions for communities of color.
Walgreens has leveraged its national reach to make HIV testing more accessible in communities across the country. Through its partnership with KFF's Greater Than HIV initiative, Walgreens offered free HIV and STI testing at more than 575 stores nationwide, working with over 415 health departments and community organizations to bring essential health services into the heart of local communities.

We were pleased to present the 2025 Beacon Award to Paramount Pictures. This honor recognizes a company that uses its influence to advance HIV visibility and demonstrates how business leadership can illuminate the path toward ending the epidemic.
Paramount has mobilized the media and entertainment industry to reignite its role in shaping narratives and reducing stigma — an effort that's inspiring others to join the movement. From thoughtful HIV education sessions to creative AIDS Walk Los Angeles fundraisers, Paramount's commitment to engaging its employees and community shows what leadership rooted in purpose, compassion, and impact truly looks like.

We were proud to present the 2025 Vanguard Award to Will Cunningham, Senior Director and Head of Government Relations for the Americas at Match Group. This award honors one individual each year whose leadership and courage drive meaningful change, both within their organization and across the broader community.
From helping lead the Government Relations and Public Affairs Cohort to engaging lawmakers and representing this work on national stages like the Out & Equal 2025 Workplace Summit, Cunningham has consistently used his influence to protect, uplift, and empower others. His example embodies the spirit of the Vanguard Award, showing how business leadership can make a real difference in the fight to end HIV.

We were honored to present the 2025 Trailblazer Award to Tristan Schukraft, CEO of MISTR. This award recognizes exceptional leadership as an innovator and pioneer in efforts to end HIV.
From launching the first-ever national PrEP program and advocating for policy change on Capitol Hill to transforming public narratives and investing in communities most affected, Tristan has consistently leveraged his platform, creativity, and influence to expand access to care, challenge stigma, and drive meaningful change. His vision and bold leadership embody the spirit of the Trailblazer Award.
