Welcome to the May edition of The Action Report. As we look ahead to welcoming the second cohort of the HIV Leadership Advisory Council next week, we pause to express our heartfelt appreciation to the inaugural Council members whose two-year term concludes this month.
Thank you to Megan Canon, Bishar Jenkins Jr., Dr. Taimur Khan, Jen Laws, Dr. Stephen Lee, Dr. Eugene McCray, Mario Perez, Katie Rutherford, and Carl Schmid for your exceptional leadership, expertise, and unwavering commitment.

Your guidance has been instrumental in laying a strong foundation for this initiative, and your legacy will continue to influence our work for years to come.
We deeply appreciate your contributions and leadership in advancing the movement to end HIV. And we look forward to announcing our new HIV Leadership Advisory Council cohort on Monday, June 2!

💼 We were excited to host our inaugural Los Angeles Business Action to End HIV Chapter Meeting of the year on April 24 at Paramount Studios. We convened over 50 business and community leaders united in their commitment to confronting one of the city’s most persistent public health challenges.
With Los Angeles having the second-highest number of people living with HIV in the U.S., it was inspiring to come together with businesses and community leaders, reflect on the current state of HIV in the city, discuss how companies can play a pivotal role in supporting the local response, and strategize on key priorities for the year ahead. Special thanks to Paramount Pictures for hosting the event.
